I created this model as an experiment: Using a scaled model, I drew a wireframe over replica car with paint markers to create contrast points for photogrammetry. The model had a few issues but worked as a guide to the overall shape of the car. Of course, scan data is not clean geometry, so In Maya I modeled and retopo'ed where possible using the scan data. I now offer this model to students to paint on in my Photorealistic Shader's class. Rendering was in Marmoset Toolbag.

Houdini

Being part of higher education within the entertainment industry calls for constant awareness of trends. SideFX Houdini has been known in the VFX circles for quite sometime, but more recently has become the buzz in the game and animation industry as well. Seeing the power of procedural assets for myself it became clear what all the buzz was about. This is a collection of some of my work created in Houdini.
Below is results from following along with Rohan Dalvi's procedural modeling techniques. Modeled in Houdini, rendered in Modo.

Lee Camp

Street Fighter V came out recently, and I was inspired to make this character to be an American adversary to Zangief.  I figure in classic Street Fighter story line; Lee Camp was on his way to the world championship where the American Champ was to face the Russian Champ Zangief. On the way to the tournament Lee's train derailed and in the crash Lee Camp mysteriously disappeared.  Years later Lee returned on the scene with no recollection of where he had been and what he was doing.  All he could remember was the match he had with the Russian.  Now he pursues Zangief to complete the one thing that still drives him.
